Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 6, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Impacting Global Ventures LLC, operator of the IGVentures platform, collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information. It applies to our website, the IGVentures application, and the services we provide to the businesses that use IGVentures to communicate with their leads and customers.
1. Who we are and our role
IGVentures is a lead conversion and customer communication platform operated by Impacting Global Ventures LLC (“IGVentures”, “we”, “us”). Our registered business address is Frisco, Texas, United States.
For most of the personal information we handle, we act as a service provider and data processor on behalf of the business that uses our platform (the “Customer”), who is the data controller. The Customer decides what data to collect from its leads and how to use it. We process that data only to deliver our service and only on the Customer’s documented instructions. For information about our own website visitors and account holders, we act as the controller. This policy describes both roles.
2. Information we collect from leads
When a business uses IGVentures to communicate with its leads, we process the following categories of personal information on that business’s behalf:
- Identity and contact details: name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, IP address, and any other fields the business asks for in its Meta Lead Ad or intake form.
- Communications: SMS and email messages exchanged, voice call metadata (call status, duration), call recordings and transcripts where the business has enabled recording, and recordings and transcripts of video meetings the lead participates in, captured through our meeting assistant across platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Webex.
- Documents: files the lead voluntarily uploads through the secure portal, depending on the business’s requirements.
- Consent records: the disclosure text the lead acknowledged when submitting, the timestamp, the source URL, and the IP address, retained as proof of consent.
3. Information we collect from account holders and visitors
- Account information: the name, work email, and password (stored only as a salted hash) of the people who sign in to operate a IGVentures workspace.
- Workspace settings and content: business information, branding, message templates, and configuration the Customer enters.
- Usage and device data: log records, browser type, and the essential session cookie described in our Cookie Notice.
- Diagnostic and security data: error and performance reports we use to keep the platform reliable, and the technical data (such as IP address) processed by our bot-protection check when a form is submitted. The providers that handle this are listed on our Subprocessors page.
4. How we use information
We process personal information to operate and improve the service, including to: send automated SMS, voice, and email follow ups on the Customer’s behalf; schedule appointments; generate meeting notes and message drafts using AI; request and store documents the lead has agreed to provide; authenticate users; secure the platform and prevent abuse; comply with law; and respond to support requests. We do not use lead personal information to train our own models, and we do not use it for our own marketing.
5. Legal bases for processing
Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on: performance of our contract with the Customer; the Customer’s and the individual’s consent (for example, the messaging consent a lead gives when submitting a form); our legitimate interests in operating and securing the platform; and compliance with legal obligations.
6. Cookies and tracking
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to keep the platform secure. We do not use advertising cookies or third party behavioral tracking, and we do not sell or share data for cross context behavioral advertising. Full detail is in our Cookie Notice.
7. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only as follows:
- With the business that owns the workspace, which is the controller of its lead data.
- With our subprocessors, the vetted service providers that help us run the platform (for example, telephony, AI inference, hosting, and storage). Each is engaged under terms that require it to protect personal information. The current list is on our Subprocessors page.
- For legal and safety reasons, when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the platform.
- In a business transfer, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will require the recipient to honor this policy.
8. Meta (Facebook and Instagram) integration
When a business connects Meta Lead Ads to its IGVenturesworkspace, the connection currently flows through a Meta App owned by KRevenue, used as a temporary bridge while IGVentures’ own Meta App completes Meta’s App Review process. This means:
- Facebook’s permission dialog displays “KRevenue” rather than “IGVentures”.
- KRevenue acts as a technical pass through for the Meta API connection. Lead data is delivered immediately to the business’s IGVentures workspace and is governed by this Privacy Policy, not KRevenue’s.
- Access tokens are AES-256-GCM encrypted at rest. Lead content (name, contact, form answers) is stored in the business’s IGVentures workspace, not in any KRevenue system.
- Once IGVentures’ own Meta App is approved, customers will be prompted to reconnect through the IGVentures branded app and the KRevenue bridge will be removed.
Our use of information received from Meta APIs adheres to the Meta Platform Terms, and our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
9. Where we store data and international users
IGVentures is a United States company and currently hosts and processes all data within the United States. We do not currently offer the service to residents of the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or other regions covered by the GDPR or equivalent laws, and we do not intentionally collect personal data from individuals in those regions. If you believe we hold your personal data and you reside in such a region, email privacy@impactingglobalventures.com and we will delete it.
10. Data retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes in this policy:
- Lead and contact records (name, phone, email, source, consent records, conversation history): up to twenty four (24) months from last activity, then deleted unless the Customer extends retention or the law requires longer.
- Call recordings and transcripts (where enabled): twelve (12) months from the call date.
- Audit logs (admin actions, security events, consent timestamps): five (5) years from the event date.
- Account information (workspace settings, user emails, authentication records): for the life of the account plus ninety (90) days after closure, after which the account is purged.
- Billing and tax records: seven (7) years where required by law.
11. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Document uploads are stored in access controlled cloud storage with per tenant isolation, and upload portal tokens expire after fourteen (14) days. We restrict internal access on a need to know basis, log administrative actions, and maintain a responsible disclosure process described on our Security page. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Data breach notification
If we become aware of a breach affecting personal information, we will notify the affected Customer without undue delay and provide the information needed for the Customer to meet its own notification obligations to affected individuals and regulators, consistent with applicable law.
13. Your rights and choices
- Reply STOP to any SMS to opt out immediately and permanently. Reply HELP for contact information.
- Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or reply asking to be removed, to opt out of email.
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting the business directly, or by emailing privacy@impactingglobalventures.com.
- Where applicable, you may object to or restrict certain processing and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
14. California rights and Do Not Sell or Share
California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) and the California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, the right to correct it, the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not “share” personal information for cross context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under CCPA and CPRA. We process lead data only on behalf of the business that owns the workspace, and we use the subprocessors listed on our Subprocessors page strictly to deliver the IGVentures service to that business.
To submit a request, whether for access, correction, deletion, or a formal “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” election, email privacy@impactingglobalventures.com from the email address on file with the business, or, if you do not have an account, include enough information for the business to identify you (full name, phone number, and the business you contacted). We will respond within forty five (45) days as required by law. You may also authorize an agent to make a request on your behalf. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
15. Children's privacy
IGVentures is a business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under sixteen (16) years of age. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, email privacy@impactingglobalventures.com and we will delete it.
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify account holders by email or in the application. Your continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
